When we suffer from an upset tummy, we automatically avoid eating until nausea or pain subsides. By doing this we give what is causing the upset time to move its way out of our system.
When our dogs turn away from food and seem listless and (dare I say it) depressed, it would be wise to let their bodies try to expunge whatever is causing the upset. There could, of course, be other symptoms like
Decreased appetite or loss of appetite
Fatigue
Seeming depressed
Looking uncomfortable and stretching more often (like they are attempting a downward dog)
Gulping to combat reflux
Licking their lips, the air, or objects
My 1-year-old pup confused us recently when she carried on eating as normal but had a very runny tummy. She had no problem walking her normal 6km and giving her older sister a hard time at all.
I believe that all-natural remedies that work for humans can also be used for our pets and promptly made a pot of (*1)Rooibos and Mint tea to fill their water bowls with. I kept this filled with fresh tea daily.
I emptied a capsule of (*2)Zerotox onto her food morning and evening for 5 days until I was certain that her tummy had healed.
We replaced her normal food with brown rice and mashed chicken, and gradually her tummy started to improve.
The Zerotox helped to remove the cause while the Rooibos and Mint tea helped to soothe the stomach.

Annique’s Rooibos & Mint tea (previously known as Stomach tea) is used to help with digestion, fever, and headaches and is a strong source of antioxidants, which can help fight damage caused by free radicals. Mentha Longifolia can be used against flatulence and colic in the stomach. It can also help against sore throat and bad breath, due to its antibacterial properties.
Rooibos & Mint tea can be used for headaches and fevers, but it is not advisable to take it in large doses if pregnant. It is a good remedy for diarrhoea, as it can help to relieve spasms.

Direction:
Pour boiling water into a cup, add one bag of tea and let it steep for 2 – 5 minutes or boil the tea on the stove for 2 – 5 minutes.
Drink as is, preferably without milk and sugar
Can be enjoyed cold, especially on a hot summer’s day. However, ensure that you keep the tea in the fridge for no longer than 48 hours
